Unfortunately your only option at the moment is going to be to locate a rental to move in to. There's no chance that you could find a property and close on it in 18 days unless it was an all cash transaction and even that would be a stretch.

Have you ever thought about checking into the BIG SISTERS program? It will pair her up with an adult who has the time to do things with her to entertain her and provide her with opportunities that she would otherwise not have. You could also get her involved with the YMCA. They have wonderful programs and they aren't that expensive. There are alot of things that you can do with her even though you are on disability that can provide her with opportunities. There are alot of free things to do and you need to check these out. Check with Family Services in your area and see what they have to offer.Advertise in a local paper or even on bulletin boards for a playmate or friend that is of the same age and can befriend your daughter and share some of these experiences with her. Be careful that you check out those that apply and make sure they are not pedifiles or perverts. Check with the teachers at her school and see if there are other kids whose financial situations are holding them back from some of these activities and see if they can offer some advice as to how to get her involved in some of these things. Use your resources out there. There are many---you just have to look for them.

If you find a home you like that is Vacant, your credit is good (for quick mtg approval) you could close in 2-3 weeks. If you are moving forward with a home you like, but it won't close in time talk with your realtor about getting a temp. Lease on that same house while you get it to close.
