I'm all for it! I'd like to see it become a legitimate business so that it would improve on a grand scale. But there are those involved in the business who want it to be illegal so that they can get more money, use it for blackmail, and satisfy their own control issues. These are the people who can afford judges and representatives/senators, I might add...

of course protecting it unlawful hasn't worked so properly thus far. no remember if that's legal, you are able to regulate it and tax it. that should shrink returned on most of the detrimental area consequences like underaged prostiution and STDs. you additionally can tax it. That no longer basically ability a clean source of earnings, yet a decrease in spending because of the fact a number of those regulations could no longer be enforced. it may save money out of the palms of criminals too. a lot of those comparable arguments ought to be made for the legalization of marjuana too.

You're absolutely right!!! What many people don't realize is, if it were legal, they would be on the street corners anymore, they would HAVE to get tested regularly, & they would have better access to health care!!! For those who are unaware, look to Nevada! The bottom line is, if it were legal in all states, it would be safer & out of the "public" eye! People aren't going to stop going to prostitutes nor are they going to stop smoking pot & it would BENEFIT us all to make it legal!

No, I disagree! A lot more people would go into this shady business and ruin their lives forever! Atleast, now that it's illegal, pimps and other rascals carry it undercover.........can you imagine if its legal, the problem would blow out of proportion...

Yes. But our Politicians who would love to spend the tax dollars are to GUTLESS to do it. They might lose a vote. Or worse yet be voted out of office.

i can see what you mean about deterring criminal activity but there would be more scope for women to be exploited...sex slaves, underage girls etc. i think the government just think they give a clearer message if they say no, don't do it.

Who would want scummy hookers hanging out in the streets in your neighborhood? Not me. If they did it out of a house with NO neighbors around, then it might be different. Kids don't need to see that type of activity.
