Yes! this card is one of the best that nvidia has released so far and you will, with no problem, play crysis at high quality with a monitor that is under from 25-30 inches.
All nvidia 8 series cards are dx10 compatible, from the 8500-8800 which have been released do far. This card will rock your world, it is unbelievable. Just make sure you have the proper slot and power supply and you're good to go!

this is the second best direct x 10 comaptible card avalible at the moment
the only one better is the 768MB nVidia® GeForce® 8800 GTX ultra, which is your card but overclocked to add more stream proccesses
however this card is probally the best main line graphic card at the moment, also take a look at the new breed of a.t.i cards the ATI Radeon™ HD 2900 Series(http://ati.amd.com/products/hdseries.html)
ive heard these cards are even better than the nvidia 8 series, and alot of users are using them in crossfire configuration as they are less expensive than the nvidia cards
crysis is one of the directX 10 launch games, along with bio-shock and lost planet/extreme condition.
also you can add the ageia physX card(http://www.ageia.com/),this will add real life like physics to your games, some say its just a rip off but from seeing one of these cards in a sli set up,i can tell you ,if you can afford one of these their worth every penny, however the games are thin on the ground at the moment, but more and more are being developed, recent games made for ageia physx are roboblitz and full spectrum warrior/tem hammers
good luck with your new card
all the best mate!

Yes, that is a card that supports DirectX 10. But that's not all.
First of all, in order to run Crysis in Direct X 10 mode, you need Windows Vista. DirectX 10 will not work with Windows XP.
And how fast will Crysis run on DirectX 10, its anyone's guess for the moment. Current top notch card are all tested in DirectX 9 card and yes they wipe the floor with last gen cards. But how fast will it run in actual DirectX 10 games, no one knows for sure.
I expect this card to be able to run Crisis with all the graphic option at maximum. Only concern is how high resolution and Anti-Aliasing you can run on these cards.

I believe whatever site you found it on advertises it as dx10 but still get a 8800gts superclocked its like 200 bucks cheaper and the only difference is the memory in the graphics card and no game requires 768mb yet so if you must get dx10 now get a 8800gts superclocked and buy another one for sli once they go down in price. ITS WHAT IM GONA DO :)

I commonly shuffle in between medium/severe in line with how laggy i desire to play it. stick to the hyperlink in case you desire to attempt the crysis demo. unsure approximately worldwide in conflict nevertheless yet your device is exceedingly beast.

that is DirectX 10 compatable, you have to have crappy vista installed, it should run Crysis flawlessly on DirectX 10 or 9 modes.
