this is simple.. just restore the computer to the time the pop up did show up. go to start, then accessories, go down to system tools, click system restore.
I always do this when i have a problem in my computer, it always works hope it does for you.

the main problem is attributed to the fact that after reinstalling the operating system you have not installed the drivers needed to run your hardware.these donot come alongwith the operating system and needs to be installed.you can get these drivers from the internet.
go to control panel>system>hardware>device manager
clcik on all te +sign in various categories.ow check for all the areas having a exclamation mark.these are the hardwares with no drivers installedconnect to the internet and click on update driver.your computer will install the driver from net if they are available else you will have to ask your vendor for the drivers.

You formatted it as in how? Did you delete the operating system also and then re-install Windows? Cause for example I have an IBM computer and if I Format everything then all the IBM tools that came with the computer at first will be gone. I suggest you bring your laptop to your manafacturer's computer support centre.

Go to the website of the laptop manufacturer and download the audio and wifi drivers. Once you install the correct drivers, you should be up and running.

well if you really knew what you were talking about you would understand that, its shot! batterys dont last forever! and the average laptop life? at most usually with a nice one, 4 years. really crappy brands like acers tend to go out in ONE YEAR!. its at its end. make a video of you smashing it, put it on youtube, and get an affordable asus eeepc. haha i mean thats like the best thing you can do. also, an asus eeepc battery cost $40 bucks on ebay! you cant afford 40-50 bucks?

You did not reformat your laptop correctly. You must use the Recovery CD that came with it.
RTFM. Read the laptop manual.

i'm not sure how to help u but don't ask those geek squad people cuz there a total ripoff. my older brother was going to see if he could get a job there and the people that worked there had no idea what they were doing and they tolled him if you don't know whats wrong just tell them to buy a new part, but if they knew what they were doing they could just fix it right there and then!!
