Why can't i quote them without being reported for abuse?
Since when have their quotations started to be too politically incorrect?
And these are mostly in my answers, sorry if i didn't phrase my earlier question right.

This one here:
When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will ... become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." - Thomas Jefferson

I've yet to cut and paste anything on Answers.
I think it's because someone didn't agree with my answer, and their question looks less inflammatory when i quote a founding father counter-manding it.

Please continue to quote our founders. Even when I disagree with you, I'll support your right to speak.

But I still think it helps if you do so calmly.

I've also been reported for saying things that liberals didn't agree with, so I know where you're coming from. There are idea censors on both sides.

Are your quotes relevant or are you one of those goons who posts 1000 words of cut-n-paste that's totally unrelated to the question at hand? If you've done the latter you deserve to be reported.

Thanks for the clarification. You may just be a victim of the Yahoo gremlins.

As long as you cite your quotations correctly I can't see a problem. I don't worry about being politically correct because I think it's a joke-we shouldn't have to hide our history or change it because other people find it offensive.

Kind of odd isn't it. You can have an avatar of a picture of a mass murderer or sexually explicit, but you better not quote Jefferson or Franklin.
