How did more than 6 Million Jews allow a few thousand soldiers to exterminate them?

Firstly, it wasn't the soldiers, it was the State with the backing of some of the most weighty, persuasive propoganda yet seen to date. The Jews became the whipping boys of the nation, blamed for everything from unemployment to crimes against children. There was a bitter Jew hunt across the nation with all invited to take part. I knew several Jewish people who were luckily able to escape but tens of thousands didn't.

Many Jewish people stood up against the nazis in the ghettos but due to the fact that they were mainly unarmed civilians fighting trained service men armed with guns etc it was impossible to win.
Also it wasnt just the ss or sa that were against the Jews at that time, german propoganda had made large portions of the general population hate Jewish people as well.

The Jews were brought in one train load at a time and were weak from malnourishment.

first off, the rest of germany had basically no idea this was happeneing.....propaganda made them think Jews were bad, and radios were not allowed to announce what was really happening....
second, the germans did this in phases....first the jews rights were taken away, then they were segregattted (ghettos), then concentration camps and then extermination.....a lot of them didn't know they were going to die especailly when they entered the camps....hope that helps RIP everyone who died in the holocaust ♥

Becasue the whole of Germany were brainwashed into hating them and they didnt just sit down and get massacred they did try and fight but the amount of people that hated them and were willing to kill them were so high they went to the concentration camps. and remember the nazis had guns and machn guns everywhere they wouldnt have stood a chance if they had tryed to rise up and defeat the soldiers
