It shouldn't matter to me now, but after my STBX left, I found out going through our old bills that during the last 3 months of our marriage, he'd been texting and calling a female co-worker ("Kelly") dozens to hundreds of times a day on his cell phone. I found hotel room charges on our credit card. He'd had a problem with ED starting in November, but couldn't get into see the doctor and get a prescription for Viagra until January, just before he left. I found out he'd ordered Viagra online in November.
Since STBX paid all the bills, I never saw the statements until he left.
When I confronted him with all this, he said that he and Kelly were just good friends, he paid for the hotel room doing a "favor for a friend", etc.
He swears he's not having an affair with Kelly (she's married, of course). Is he lying so I won't try to take him to the cleaners and ask for alimony and/or protecting Kelly? I think she's getting ready to divorce her husband.

STBX = Soon to be ex
We were married for 12 years. He left because he isn't "in love" with me any more. Our divorce papers are prepared, but not yet filed

It sounds to me that hes not being totally honest with you for whatever reason. You need to do whats best for you and if thats sueing him for divorce and everything youre legally entitled to, then so be it. Dont feel sorry for him as obviously he doesnt for you or hed come clean and ask for forgiveness, and definitely would have been honest with you from the beginning. Now kelly is her husbands problem but wouldnt you like to know why theyre divorcing at this time? Good luck

Take him to the cleaners, he and Kelly are in the sack together, I would even tell Kelly's husband to look for the signs. Since you and your soon to be X have split what he does shouldn't matter. But what about Kelly is she split with her STBX or is she getting divorced at all. Also some states have a no-fault divorce system. Look to see if yours is one of them. Talk to your lawyer to find out more

Save those bills as proof of his infidelity! My husband had ED during his affair. Like someone else said, it was probably his guilty conscience. Kelly was not just a friend. No one contacts a friend that often and pays a hotel bill for them. If it was harmless, your husband would have told you about it. Don't fall for his BS!

Don`t believe a word he`s saying. The facts are the facts. Get everything that is owed to you and move on as quickly as possible. Don`t spend to much time searching how many times and how long he cheated, he cheated period. Discovering you`ve been cheated on is an awful feeling of betrayal but you will get over it and you will learn to trust again . Good luck.

OK, this sucks, but it's not worth getting upset or fighting over. If you are broken up, stop talking to him and move on.
What the heck is a STBX? Jeez....I thought I was pretty up on these things.

he is lying, and you deserve a man like me; to be that committed guy that can be a great shoulder and ear and would never, ever, let another woman come in our relationship.
