Do you think a man who talks about his own heavy drug use and always looking for some blow in his book could be trusted to be the president. There are flashbacks and halucinations that come back later in life should we ever take that kind of chance?

Why not? Your CURRENT President is a War Deserter and a Coke Head, why is it ok for Republicans to be drunks and drug addicts but no one else?

Typical hypocracy. ONly bothers you when its not your candidate. Grow a pair before asking lame questions.

Did you actually *read* the book? Can you reference the section you're referring to? He never claimed to be "always looking for some blow." He said when he was young and in college he would look for blow at parties. Now, I do not advocate drug use at all, but let's be honest here: If all of us had the mistakes and poor choices of our younger days held over us for life, more of this country would be unemployed, and we would have no politicians. At least Obama was honest and didn't try to be coy like Clinton (didn't inhale? seriously?), and at least he isn't a complete addict like Bush (who is a drug and alcohol addict, and consistently drove under the influence as an *adult*).

Also, you are absolutely incorrect when you talk about "flashbacks and halucinations [sic]." You're referring to LSD. Cocaine doesn't have that kind of after effect. But if it did, that could be Bush's excuse as to why we're in Iraq - he was *hallucinating* when he got the intelligence reports and *thought* they said Al Queda was connected to Iraq. Ha! Maybe that's what happened to the WMDs!!

I really believe people are entitled to their own opinions - but we should all try to do a little research and ground our opinions in facts, not fantasy.

An inquiry from another puppet of the continually irrelevant Ann Coulter (insert YAWN here). To your question though; based on the fact that voters "trusted" our current President after his complete military career consisting of a three day coke binge in the National Guard, than yes, we can trust just about anybody.

Drug use should be your least concern, I am much more concerned about the years he spent at the Muslim school of Wahhabi in Jakarta Indonesia, in-case you are not aware of it, they teach the same radical Islam the the terrorist use to justify their jihad, Obama as a sleeper cell? Maybe? Thank about it, if they can put 19 on airplanes, how hard is it to put 1 more in Washington, they already have Ellison from Minn.

I like the fact that he was honest...honestly is great for a president. Even if it makes him look bad he is letting the american public know what he is about...inside and outside. This is what we need. Someone who says look...this is my past, this is me now, this is my family...you got the whole picture.

I respect him for being honest as opposed to those politians who hide their past and make themself look like the perfect family and perfect past. No one is perfect and yeah it would be nice to have a president just like everyday people.

Oh Bubba, like you've never taken drugs. Thats how you became republican. It's called honesty. It wouldn't work for you because then you would have to admit to the court you killed all those Mexicans "tryin' to invade my country, Ya'll!"

He is black, of course he uses drugs, he was probably on the pipe since he was in 5th grade and selling since 8th, you know how those people are; drugs, welfare, complaining about the man, he was voted into congress by a majority of people in his state that are just like him

are you serious? You really want to judge a person on their past? We've all done stupid things when we were younger. As long as he realized what he was doing wasn't good for him and he isn't doing it anymore then I'm okay with that.

He won't be the first president who used cocaine in the past.
