I have been a Cavs fane for a long time. Let's face it it's been hard...
It is so nice to finally have some post-season success.

My question is will Cleveland/Detroit be a good rivalry for the next however many years? I respect the hell outta Detroit. For the most part, they are nothing but class. I have had nothing against them the whole time. Plus, I think we all know they will reload next year.

With the Cavs getting better and better, I think we could be looking a a pretty good rivalry for some time to come.

What do you think?

I think it might take a year off from being a good rivalry if C.B leaves and Wallace is gone but make no mistake Joe Dumars is one hell of a GM building this team from crap and with a few young players like maxiell and delfino and a few moves over the next year or so he will get them back. Remember he made some very unpopular choices with trading stackhouse for rip and letting Ben go

5 years in a row to make it to the eastern finals is one hell of a run with 1 championship and 2 finals

And yes i am a piston fan. And i will be pulling for the Cavs Good Luck

I could be a good rivalry, but I think we've seen the end of the Detriot run. Chauncey Billups could very well be in Cleveland next year and Rashhed is probably gone. I would keep an eye on Chicago in the offseason.

Go CAVS!!!! I really believe they are not given a chance against the Spurs, but The "experts" have been doggin the CAVS all year. We see how much they know!

I'm not sure it's going to become a rivalry because the Pistons team is getting a bit old while the Cavs are still young. Maybe a few good years worth, like the Knicks-Heat in the mid/late 90s. That was my favorite rivalry to watch.

But anyway, go Cavs

Absolutely! We got two industrial cities on Lake Erie duking it out. I'm more of a baseball fan, so this to me is basketball's version of the Indians/White Sox rivalry (although the Indians/Yankees rivalry was particularly nasty in the mid-1990s). LeBron James, Drew Gooden, Zdryunas Ilgauskas, and Anderson Varejao are just lighting s**t up at the Q! God bless them and the rest of the team.

I think the Pistons are done. This series exposed serious chemistry issues with that team. I think another team will have to step up and be the Cavs main rival next year. Maybe the Heat, or the Bulls.

I see your question got a reaction from Rasheed. Dont take it to seriously he will stomp his feet and whine for a year or so and then take it like a man. As for you question , no i dont think so. They will break up the Pistons this off season. You cant keep them together once they start blaiming each other for the lose.
