In both socialism and feudalism, the common man is allowed to advance in life only as far as the state permits. In both of these systems common people are not allowed to acquire personal wealth beyond which the state deems possible.
Once you cede power to the state to provide your individual personal needs, like healthcare, you have lost your freedom.
Listen to Hillary Clinton speak. She is touting socialism in this country. In each of her speeches, she states she want to tax the rich, create a huge government program, and provide socialized medicine. Think this thru. She wants to cap the wealth individuals can acquire. She was to be able to coerce or control your life by giving you free services. How do you think these free services will work out?
Look at the Social Security system. Every benefit SS people get is dictated by a committee. People on Social Security receive only the return that a committee sees fit. Limits are placed on the incomes of SS receivers. They are forced to live on a fix income or lose the benefits. And, if you decide to keep working because you can't live on SS, you must keep paying into the system even if you don't get any benefits.
Americans don't get free healthcare because Americans love freedom and liberty.
Think about this also. Why create a huge department of the government that will cost hundreds of millions of dollars to administer a national healthcare system? Why not just require every American to get coverage on their own? Creating a healthcare department is like you hiring someone to come to your house every morning to brush your teeth for you. Why pay for the adnimistrative expense of something you can take care of on your own?

Capitalism only works when American digs into the truth of it and that's going back to the Declaration of Independents.

By giving up rights, especially when it has to do with 100% of my health care would go against the grain of our true American beliefs.
Capitalism is the only way you can enjoy the fruits this Land has to offer and our forefathers were smart enough to see it.

My son did something wrong once and I took his car for a week. He complained "that's mine and you can't take it". I had to remind him I paid for it and I am still paying for it so I have the final decision.

You know the drill, need medical attention go to an ER, you will be taken care of regardless of ability to pay. Now what is wrong with that?
Instead of always calling it National Health Care, wouldn't it be more honest to call FREE health care, because that is what you are really saying isn't it?
I do not want the congress or the government anywhere near my health care, they can do nothing right and the only thing they do reasonably well is our military although that is flawed when the congress gets near it.

Every health insurance company in america costs millions of dollars to run every year and that is for each of them. They also make millions of dollars in profits every year and that is each of them. The CEO's of every company get millions of dollars in salaries and bonuses. Not a penny of this money actually goes to medication or health care for the patient. Not a penny of this money goes to the doctors or hospitals or pharmacies. In my opinion its billions of dollars that could be. If our system of malpractice lawsuits were done away with, doctors who pay half their income in malpractice insurance would not have to do so. Meaning they could be paid half of what they make now and still make the same. Same for hospitals. This would dramatically slash the cost of health care. Make doctors criminally liable for negligence in their profession. The idea of jail time might make them a little more careful. The fact that doctor's incomes would not decrease keeps quality physicians in the system and the criminal liability gets rid of the bad ones and motivates the ones on the fence. If every penny that were paid every year into health insurance, by subscribers, their employers in co-payments and premiums and dedutcables went in to a national health care fund everyone would have access to top quality health care. These are only a couple of suggestions for changes that would need to occur in order for us to have a successful health care program for everyone. I guarantee you every poor man woman and child already gets quality health care at the taxpayers expense. Pool all the money that goes to insurance companies, control healthcare costs especially drug costs, keep it simple and it would work. I work my tail off, I pay huge insurance premiums and co-payments and deductables and get very poor health care. People on welfare get better care than my family does. You tell me why that is. And how your plan would correct that.

We do have the best health care still in the world but it looks like this to can change soon, take good care of your health, in other words take a number and maybe we can help you but do not hold your breath. This is very scary subject if only people did their homework to find out the truth.

It is a matter of concern to most Americans and the rising costs are worrisome to individuals and to employers. All other major industrialized countries provide health care for all of their citizens, so we have experience and history to review when deciding on what type of universal health care would be best for this country.
