I did read the leaflet which came in the box of pills. But I wanted to know if its ok taking paracetamol when i need it (i.e. headaches, stomach cramps etc) and also if i can take hayfever tablets. I need to make sure these won't affect the pill when I start taking it for the very first time soon.

Depends on the type of pill your on depends on what other medication, for example most of us women know that antibiotics prevent the pill from functioning effectively but the one i'm on doesn't get affected by this. Painkillers and hayfever tablets are usually fine, if you want more info go to www.netdoctor.com or .co.uk, type in the brand of your pill and it will list all medcations that'll interact with it. Its ok to take paracetamol and hayfever tablets, but be careful if you take certain antibiotics as they can affect the pill and you could get pregnant.
If you are in any doubt about which tablet you can take, ask your doctor or even the chemist where you got the tablets, they are always there to help.

You will be safe with these but not antibiaotics. The one thing most people forget is that if you are sick, it cancelles the pill out, even if you throw up because you have had too much to drink. Don't forget you can get the morning after pill up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.

Taking both of those are absolutley ok but you should make sure to check qith all the other medications if there are any because some WILL effect the pill

youcna take most things hwoever anti biotics will stop the pill from working however u need to carry on taking pill whilst on anit biotics to keep the cycle lol! but pain killers etc are fine!

good idea to consult a pharmacist with BCP's........if you take certain antibiotics, your BCP's will be ineffective and you could become pregnant.
