Will he be immortilized no matter what he does just because he is black ? He can use the race card whenever the republicans vote against him further alienating the white vote.

I doubt that he'll be a good one, much less a great one, or the "best ever". The man's popularity is built on the fact that he's a fresh new face, and he's never done a damned thing, so he hasn't offended any special interest groups. I used to think that sooner or later, he'd have to do something, and then his popularity bubble would burst, but now I don't think he's going to do anything at all in the campaign. Why should he when doing nothing is working so well? But as president, doing nothing will be a recipe for disaster. Remember Jimmy Carter? And doing something is no panacea either. Just look at how W's poll numbers have plummeted since 9/11. Being president is practically guaranteed to make you the most unpopular person in the country!

Obama, if he does win the presidential election, will have to clean up the mess left by the prior administration. This is no short order.

However, he is smart, articulate and charismatic. He probably will assemble a competent cabinet, and they will do, at the least, just as good a job as anyone else would.

The race card issue is bogus.Even if he was white, the cons would vote against him.

In examining what each candidate has done in the past, I'm still very interested in John Edwards as to what he is doing/saying and who he has always been. Perhaps, the more AIPAC-butt kissing assholes, like Bob Schrum, tries to crucify, the more I wonder if AIPAC is scared that America is gradually waking up to the call that America should come first before Israel in our foreign policy decisions.

If anything, Edwards and Obama seem to hit the top as real, caring and men of better integrity than the rest of the candidates of both sides of the parties. And they seem to care for the american Public in general than kissing the butts of the powerful that corrupt with money to hurt America's honor, integrity and America's Constitution and the pledges to the American Flag.

It's weird that Wolf Blitzer gloats on Fred Thompson for merely Thompson's acting performances and gigantic physical appeal. The way he goes on and on, harping about Thompson's physics, one can't help but wonder whether Blitzer may be a closet gay.:-)

Think Crowley does need to take time off to do physical exercises instead of exercising her lip service? She's getting to look physically like Jerry Falwell ! :-)

By the way, my question to heartless, the poster: Do yo know that the FBI informer who helped in smoking those terrorists at JFK before they actually carried out their killing spree on innocent americans, happened to be a Muslim???
There are good and bad peole in all walks of life and ethnicities. And without good Muslims actually taking risks to smoke out the evil ones, our war on terror would prove futile. After all, Bush's Iraq War is allowing bad Muslims to go on a killing dance!

i personally feel he wont use the race card expect to get elected but once everyone finds out hes a phony like most politions are well realect him. (bush)

but more seriously i think hell be more or less increasingly scrutinized and under pressure to give a really good candidacy for two reasons he has to make a good name for "Africans Americans and other colored people so that us dubm whate poelpe will know that them brown folk are all right" and the other he is Dem right so he has to prove Dem's are a better party.

At this point I doubt there is anyone who can make a good difference. Most politicians are all bullsh*t manipulators.
This one is no different. Who cares what color they are. Black, white, brown, it doesn't matter. There is nothing we can do but put up with it and see what happens next in this crazy world..

On the contrary, he would be the worst. He would play the race card at every opportunity, both ways. The black people will say he doesn't do anything for them and the whites will say he does everything for the blacks. I reality, he will just do everything for himself.

Obamama is a pacifist pro-muslim ni**er, I am sure the bleeding hearts in this country will do whatever it takes to get him in office just to show how accepting we are in America. It will not work, at best all he will ever be is someones BOY.

Well, right now it's hard to say....he's no Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton and I doubt it very seriously if he will ever use the race card against the republicans.....

Extremely doubtful, due to lack of experience. Still, he's about the best the Democrats seem to be able to come up with.
