i had sex with my boyfriend a few hours ago and it was weird because it started to hurt, like it was too much friction..and afterward my vaginal area started to swell up really bad and i could barely walk. its gone down now for the most part, and only the right half of my inner labia is still swollen..any ideas on what this could be?? also he used a different brand of condom this time is it possible that it could have been made differently and i just had an allergic reaction??
someone please help me before i start to panic..thanks.

I can see how you would panic, but it seems like the situation is correcting itself. The condom could definitely be the culprit. Also, the part about the friction sounds like vaginal dryness-maybe a combination of the two caused the problem? I think as long as it isn't prolonged or followed by more intense/internal symptoms-it will probably be ok- but for sure see your doctor tom. if things don't get better.

The allergic reaction is a possibility for sure. But the swollen and painful vaginal area has happened to me. I never really knew what it was, but it will go away within a few days. I recomend no sex until you feel better. If it still hurts and you get more symtoms, I would call your doctor or something. Hope this helps!

It could be a reaction to the comdom. I would not use that kind again. If it's getting better I wouldn't worry but if it gets worse I would consult a doctor. Good luck.

probably an allergic reaction. take an allergy pill like benedryl. even if it isn't an allergic reaction 1 allergy pill won't hurt. it's worth a shot.good luck!

Don't panic - next time you decide to get into this act - assuming you are old enough to indulge in it - then try using some ointment or lubricant!

you just had an allergic reaction, its not uncommon for people to be alergic to this product. get advice from your doctor, he/she will do a test to see if you are allergic.

Well that could be it, you know him using a diffrent brand, but it could also be that you werent wet enough. You know? im thinking that could be it, but im sure others have more educated guesses.
