i was racing my friend in the pool and then suddenly my nose and chin bumped and skid up against the bottom of the pool. i started crying and then i asked my friends if it was red and they said the skin must of scraped off because it was really red. it hurt really badly. what should do?!!!!! it still hurts BAD.

the only person who can determine if you have broken your nose is a medical doctor. Many accidents occur in the swimming pool. I suggest you ask your parents to take you to the emergency room as soon as possible. You need medical attention.

Is it absolutely necessary to find a skin regiment that works for you and stick with it daily. Dont skip a day and don't slack off. If you wear makeup make postively sure that all of your makeup is completely off before you go to sleep. That can be devasting to your skin. Even a skin care regiment doesn't completely remove all makeup so try using cold cream on harsh makeup areas, such as eyes.

if it still hurts, and is still red and maybe swollen, did it bleed? try applying a little ice on the spots that hurt most. look in the mirror, is your nose or chin a funny shape, can you move it?

See the doctor for an exam and x-ray. You can ice the area. If your nose is broken, the pain will get worse quickly. Take Advil for the pain.

if it continues to hurt for a few more hours, go the the E.R....that should tell you if somethings infected ot anything.your doctor would also probally tell you to stop racing in the pool!lol
