Buy a spreader and check the labels on weed control packaging. There are Weed and Feeds and weed killers that are not supposed to kill grass.

good thing you didn't call chem lawn, waste of money and poor job,get spreader for about $30.put out pre-emergence in march and sept. that will keep annual weeds from coming up.as for weeds growing now, weed be gone does a good job.weed & feed needs to be applied after rain or watering, look at instructions on bag for amounts per 1000 sq,ft

Go to your local garden store, or Home Depot where the bags of fertilizer are sold. Buy the four or five step fertilizer program with a spreader of your choice. I prefer a broadcast spreader myself. Set the spreader to the numbered setting usually found on the back of your fertilizer bag, and spread!

I use weed and feed to control the weeds in my yard. If they are really persistant...I get the shovel out and dig them up. I also recommend a turf builder...makes for a beautiful lawn.
