when try to download soming that takes about an hour my dsl modem over loads and shuts off?

then my download stops and i haft to start all over agin is there anny way i can fix that

Get a software downloader that can restart downloads after an interruption.

Why does your modem shut off? Sounds like you have an issue with your ISP.

Your computer may be virused, or you may have put a funny setting in it. Also your DSL modem may be broken.

The best thing to do is get a faster DSL.Try to get a faster one
with more MPS(megabits per second).
