For you're information, (girl who said it's a rediculous question) I can't fail this year! Because my grades from this year are good! That's why I'm not motivated. And don't give me that cr*p like you have to do you're homework or you will fail. Some people spend a few minutes a day on the important subjects and they pass!

I'm 21 and I still hate work I have to do at home, it feels like a violation and I STILL have a really hard time geting round to doing it. Problem is, you won't be able to really enjoy yourself untill it is done cos you will feel guilty doing anything but and it will start to weigh you down. Aim to do 30 minutes of it, then maybe call a friend or have a quick break. You will feel better for having done some. Then another 30 mins etc. what homework is it? I bet you'll find someone on here willing to help :)

Often it helps when you do your homework with your friends or classmates.

In science, instead of studying lessons by the book, try going out in the field and discover nature in your own. Bring some books for guide or materials like magnifying lenses.

In math, it helps if you ask for help. Studying it alone can be boring. Try doing it with your classmates during an afternoon tea party.

Reward yourself by doing your homework - for every 40 minutes you spend working, give yourself a 15 minute break. This is what I do, because let's face it - homework [unfortunately] can't really be avoided.
Good luck with your essays and maths :D

What a ridiculous question? Do you want to fail for the year? Homework is an integral part of school life. Whether or not you "feel like" doing it, you MUST do your homework. And don't wait until the last minute or it won't matter if you do your work or not; it won't be good enough to pass.

I feel sorry for a girl so young that she aims to just be "good" instead of aiming for excellence. My 4th grade teacher said to the class, "aim for the stars and if you miss, you're still in the sky; aim low and if you miss you're in the gutter." So, cool the attitude and start aiming for the stars.

It doesn't matter if you feel like doing it or not. You need to do it. Sit down, turn off everything (TV, music, computer...unless you need it for your projects), and work. It won't be fun, but you need to do it.
