Will a Radeon X300SE 128MB work good with Battlefield 2142? I'm looking to buy a new graphics chip from amazon cause mines sucks and wont even play 2142 right.

Well, that x300SE is a low budget card itself and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to play 3d games.

You might want to look for a card at least at GeForce 7600 or a ATi's Radeon x1600 level.

Both 7600GS and x1600Pro has AGP version too, if you're on a AGP system.

Whoa thats like the cheapest card you can get now. It can play Halo PC full settings sure, but with a graphics extensive game like Battlefield 2142 you can expect to run in 2x1 resolution. Try spending more than 40 bucks on a card. The cheapest you might be able to get with decent performance is the ATI x1600 for 130-150 bucks.

Look for something with no less than 256Mb GDDR3 if possible
