Why begin anew?
Implies starting the cycle again. To what end.
To once again get to where we are now... lost with nowhere else to go. Might as well just carry on beating each other bloody until it's all much smaller than a golf ball and can never get back up again... Why? because I'd hate to think that future generations would get here again.

No because the massiveness of space is bigger than the mass that would fit unto the volume of a golf ball.
However in modern physics they see many black hole that they believe magically contracted into a tiny tiny volume . So black holes come into different category major size ,economy size and micro size.
The most compacted mass hole would be the Neutron.
Never the less Black holes are invisible=That means no one has ever seen one.Seen is believing..

Since the universe is expanding and the gravitational bonds between celestial bodies correspondingly weakening, I doubt this would happen. But, there are many things about the world we live in we do not understand, so I suppose some event could trigger a reversion in universal expansion.

how do you know that it started the size of a golf ball in the begining ? perhapsit was a vast expansion of nothingness that has collected like dust and moisture and formed from there.....what about if we eridacted the earth of all money mongers.... and put the human being as a individual in a strong family....as the begining of a new universe.?

That's one theory and it depends on the mass of the Universe. Of course, it can never be proven, but evidence may mount to support it.
Now whether it will go through another big bang and become a new Universe is pure speculation and there can't be any evidence for that.
Of the unpleasant ends one might imagine, I believe it will be heat death.

Yes, but something bigger than us might more easily convince the universe to fall in on itself.
------------------------------------------
Depending on size of universe etc. our universe could either keep expanding forever or fall back on itself.
Our universe seems to be tottering on knife edge so it could go either way.
I believe this is an evolved aspect to enable flexibility or sustained growth and possible death.
I believe that our universe is a living organism like ourselves of which we form a small part, like a single cell.
Old age and dying form an integral part of human evolution and presumably similar forces would be involved in the evolution of our universe or cosmos. Thus we would expect our universe to eventually recycle itself, like salmon or lemmings. Falling in on itself would be one way of accomplishing this.
The fact our universe is tottering on the knife edge suggests that it is designed to be able to expand or contract based on external or internal stimulai.

well since the universe has been expanding from a really long time(after big bang)... t think if a gravitational field comes to existence which is so unbelievably strong.... (greater than nything u would've ever thought of).. it is still hard to say......
