How do you make the Odds bend into your favour when doing difficult things?

By putting your best effort into any task and asking God to be with you while you work at the task. When God is with you, none can prevail against you.

I don't feel I have to DO something to bend the odds in my favor. If I can't get it on my own merit then my trying wasn't given enough effort. When things go more difficult, then anything worth having is worth the extra effort.

Say I'm doing something practical like welding.
Take a breather and go and watch in admiration how someone else is doing it, the one that you already know is skilled in that area.
And just absorb what I see and ask any questions, at appropriate times or some people just want to talk about their work..
More times than not, whatever it is, people are only to happy to help.
The rest of my work I do quietly and thoughtfully.
And now would do it with prayer.

well i bend them...by facing and doing the difficult task...in my dictionary there is no word such as impossible...and even if u break the word u get- i m possible....the meaning is clear!!...so by facing the difficulties ahead of me, i bend the odds in favour of me...i never lose hope in such stuff

Prior Planning, networking (making sure you are part of a good support system) keeping yourself in good shape and getting enough sleep, research what you want to do and make sure you are getting the most out of your effort, hope this helps

I have difficult time, I tend to force than bead problems, I just like them done and over so I wont suffer my own-self and others around me too.
