I saw an outhouse made of wine bottles!
They were stacked on their sides, with concrete holding them together. This kept the wind out, allowed light and privacy, and it was absolutely unique. It was also a way for the party animal property owner to get rid of his bottles!

My aunt used to stuff them with a string of christmas lights and decorate the outside with a ribbon. They look pretty cool when they light up and I used one for years in my kitchen for party lights. Cheap, fast and pretty fun.

make candle holders out of them. use different color candles and let it melt down the bottle and u get a beautiful array of color coming down the bottle. keep wax paper under the bottle.
