Well honestly I think we humans starter to wear clothes because we moved into colder regions of the world were clothes was necessary. Also for fighting animals it was a form of armor. And for spiritual beliefs clothes/paints made us look more involved. So there are alot of reasons why we humans wear clothes but I think the most common one we use it for now and the worst reason is for status symble. We all want to look cooler then other people I guess thats just human nature or something... But that doesnt make it right. Honestly I would personaly love it if our society was at peace enoth to allow someone to be naked in public again instead of calling them crazy and having the poplice get them... Oh and in the defence of humans most animals have fur humans really dont have much of that... Also its a behavioral habbit we have learned as a race and habbits can be very hard to break. Let me ask this question? Do you think you'll have clothes when u die and go to an after life? Or will you be compleatly naked to other people who have been in the after life longer.

There are many reasons why people wear clothes. We wear clothes to protect ourselves from the cold, the rain, even the sun. Some of us wear clothes for cosmetic value ( then again some of us don't for cosmetic value;) Some wear clothes because they are shy of their bodies. Some for cultural and religious reasons and some dont know why they wear clothes but just do because its the "done thing". Some multinational companies make billions promoting different types of clothes and then certain 'industries' make trillions projecting nudity. As you can see clothes are the bane of our lives. Animals are far less complicated and probably much happier. I would have been much richer if clothes didnt exist and didnt have a wife! Clothes discriminate between rich and poor, big and small, powerfull and weak. My personal opinion is that they shouldnt have been invented. But unfortunately man invented fire much later than he used a bear skin to warm himself. Then again theres always the forbidden fruit theory. Take your pick. Clothes are here to stay... just like corruption, crime and evil!!!! Imagining a naked world without clothes is like building castles in the sand.

I think, if really not aware, you are "koop mandook", means a frog in well.
Please come out of you, would see, most of young females, though dressed but look naked; wait ! this is start , the day not for off you would see mostly cloth less.
Gentle man cloth wearing is one of the symbol of personality with moral, however to days morality has almost all done away, hence no use of cloth.

Friend,
Man is called a rational animal.
This rationality makes all the difference between animals and humans.
The animals do not have the sense to discriminate from what is decent and what is indecent.
The humans use tissue papers ,use fresheners, scents, tooth paste etc etc things in life.no animal uses any of such things.
They live like that and die like that. They do not have any bsocial life or any discriminative sense from good and bad.
But Humans have it.we live in a society. We know what neatness is.What health is.
So in order to be healthy we do so many things like taking bath, brushing teeth, eating balanced food etc.
Suppose al humans are without clothes , the natural biological reflexes will cease or decrease, as that becomes common, every day scene. If anything is covered, its value and your interest in it increases. So clothing does it.
Once clothing is there , fashions arrive automatically as butterflies have different designs on their wings.
Finally if you insist and say why should not anyone be naked like animals, the answer may be YES IF IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS HE IS ANIMAL LIKE.

Good question.
I would put it down to the evolutionary process of humans from the hunter-gatherer era onwards to what we call a more civilised era . I definitely believe that the majority of early humans did move about naked ,until perhaps they encountered a tribe /lot of humans who covered themselves in some rudimentary clothes made of bark/leather /etc ,more to ward of the weather and insects ,and not out of a desire to hide ones modesty . The naked perhaps took a cue from this ,and aped this practice ,which in course of time evolved to establish a 'dress code ' among humans. Fashion followed form ,and thus was established a code of conduct which was then established as the norm. To my mind every time and era ,had its own established practices ,and we do too till this day. What is relevant today may not be so tomorrow. We could be fashionably nude tomorrow!

Once we start something we get used to it. We can not imagine life without electricity, cars, phones, internet etc now because we are so used to it so also the clothes. If humans wouldn't have started wearing clothes then we wouldn't have felt anything wrong in being naked.

Nice Question pal, well after seeing our heroines in movies it looks like we are moving once again to a stage where we will not wear any clothes at all. BUT till then we have to wear them.
Firstly: We wear cltohes to protect us from the weather outside weather it is hot or cold.
Secondly: Without clothes you wont find any girls attractive or sexy enough as you will be seeing which you till now just imagine with their clothes on and feel attracted towards them.
its the same with girls.
Till then put on what you want to wear and enjoy your life.

It gets cold. That's the main reason. Plus they're sometimes pretty.
When any activity is done for long enough, it becomes a taboo not to. The European tribes all had to wear fur coats, and when they became civilised, continued to do so in an ever more elaborate manner. When they discovered that Africans and south Americans had less need of clothes they were quite shocked.

We need to wear clothes so we can look different from each other. When we wear something that looks stranger to another, then they can persecute us and play head games. Men would have a harder time finding mates too. Only the larger external organs on display would be the ones not lonely. Same with women too I would suppose.
