I am thinking the Bush administration would like this to go away but they are in a difficultt positoin. Some would like Bush to pardon him. Maybe they will let him serve some jail time first and then offer a pardon after the election.

Thanks for the reference. But serioulsy, giving false testimony to a Federal Grand Jury, is bad.
There OUGHT to be consequences. Some of you believe Bush SHOULD pardon him, granted. Do you think he WILL ?

I believe he will go to prison and Bush will pardon him before he leaves office.

He will probably pardon him. Do you really think he cares what the people think?
I don't agree that pardons should be used in cases like these. It seems like a scapegoat for the rich. I can screw the people and get off scott free.
I think the only way a pardon should be used is in very rare cases.
They make the laws and should have to obey them. Giving them a pardon is not setting a good example for the American public no matter what party you are with.

i don't see how he could dare to. Libby additionally worked for the president, and the leak got here from Bush, not Cheney! Scooter could be dealing with a firing squad! enable Bush pardon him! very few Republicans will win an election in 2008! And forget the presidency!

He will most likely Pardon him, all presidents have issued them, Bill Clinton still has the record for pardons though...so nothing new.

maybe they will let libby serve his time in the same place sandy berger is serving his...........which would be NOWHERE.....it must be great to be a democrat!!!
