The truth is WE CAN..we choose often to not...but we are already grieving and begging for some sort of help or salvation and this isn't a God thing.......I KNOW addiction well.....i was NOT impervious to its being there it was a matter of what next to do..and then I found out...you cannot trust everyone with a good intention......instinct. Send your kinetic energy....as a beginning, com eon we ALL have it...and burn the addiction away....like an undiscovered wind.......it takes many to rid that kind of pain, to listen to hold to care, to feed to wipe the tears of....and so forth...yes we always know first...no one is kidding anyone...it is all options.
Cheers~been there and done that...i won.....so will th person you speak of!!!! I will NEVER be afraid to say so either!!!!

Because we do not think our addictions are addictions. We think we are doing soemthing that we like by force of habit- whereas eeryone else can tell when it's starting to become a bit addictive to us once we only crave that object of addiction.

Denial is such a powerful thing. We hold onto the hope that we can control or conquer our addictions until the very end. "I can stop whenever I choose to--I just don't want to!"

The first step would be huge in this case. It is amazing once you get it!

You are mistaken. Sex never becomes boring even at 60 plus, and it always thrills. Maybe there is a reduction in the frequency, but it remains the same as it was in the beginning. I don't understand how it becomes interesting after seeing others. After all, it is all in the mind.
