I went to the mall last weekend, and decided to go to the record bar... like I always do... and I like checking out how The Black Parade Album is doing... and sure enough, it was on the Top Hits CD rack, next to Linkin Park's Minutes To Midnight... so I took a look at it and saw a sticker stuck to it saying something like:

With 3 Amazing Hits:
Welcome To The Black Parade
Famous Last Words
I Don't Love You

With Over 2 million copies sold worldwide!
The Groundbreaking Emo-Scremo Album Of The Year!

What do you think?
I was happy that the album was going very well, but the Emo-Screamo label I wasn't sure of...

By The Way - This was at a record bar in the Philippines... all their singles are Hits here... especially the music videos...

I disagree completely with that "label"
Labels are so retarded anyways. You can't label a band for the way they sound. It's about the music they write and the members themselves.
My Chemical Romance is not emo. They hate to be called emo.. because they're not.
Many bands are labeled emo for the lyrics they write.. [[depressing lyrics etc..]] or the way they dress and what not.
My Chemical Romance does not write depressing lyrcis. And I'm sure we all know that. Their lyrics are very deep and uplifting. They save and help people in many ways.
Also, the members themselves are not emo. Some people might think they are just because of the way they dress. Well, you can't "label" someone for what they look like on the outside. Every member of My Chemical Romance is a very smart, strong, and great person. They all have a lot of hope and devotion. They don't believe in that whole cutting stuff..
They are not emo.
You also can't call them screamo.
The three songs you named.. Welcome To The Black Parade, Famous Last Words, and I Don't Love You aren't screamo. Gerard doesn't even scream in any of them..
If anything, their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brough Me Your Love, has the most screaming, but is not screamo. They like to call their music rock, or alternative, or even pop rock, etc..
They and their music are not emo or screamo.

Well you and me both know, just as any true fan does, that MCR is neither emo or screamo. That'd get me mad too, but what would get to me the most is that it said with 3 hits...Come on now, every song on there is destined to be a hit....
