It was on Friday - Eric sent me the most awesome card.
It came just when I was most in need of it.
Amazingly, I think he sensed I was blue.
This might sound a touch fanciful, but if you know Eric then you know he is an empath.

Today i met a gr8 new frnd
who knew me right away
it was funny how he understood
all i had to say.
he listened to my problems
he listened to my dreams
we talked abt luv n life
he'd been there,too,it seems
i never once felt judged by him
he knew just how i felt
he seemed to just accept me
n all problems i'd been dealt
he dint interrupt me
or need to have his say
he just listened very patiently
n didnt go away
i wanted him 2 understand
how much this meant to me
but as i went to hug him
sumthing startled me
i put y arms infront of me
n went to pull him nearer
n realized that my new best frnd
WAS NOTHING BUT A MIRROR.....
It reminds me......i never smile from my heart! sorry....i m a melancholy jackass!!
