Every body in this world has there own problems America has freak storms, murder, gangs, and car wrecks. I live in Memphis and worried about my family and me everyday. Still though you gotta keep moving even when the situations at risk. So why are worried about nukes when we got other problems th worry about.

In the 1980's President Reagan urged the US to start building a missile defense system. The Democrats have obstructed the program at nearly every turn for over 20 years.

Today we have North Korea testing ever longer range missiles and already possessing atomic weapons. How long until they can nuke Seattle at will?

Meanwhile, Iran is trying to build both nuclear weapons and long range missiles and getting help on both from North Korea.

Actually a Democratic surrender would be immensely funny in some ways. First, neither Hillary nor Pelosi could surrender to the mullahs because they won't speak to women in a serious context. [They must find Condi Rice nearly insufferable because she's female, black, highly educated, and single -- all of which violate their bigotted beliefs.]

Al Gore is obviously in loco land -- the mullahs know well that humanity isn't causing global warming [their society traces its roots back over 2500 years and thus knows something about climatic variation].

John Edwards is obsessed with his appearance [$400 haircuts -- what vanity!].

Harry Reid is plainly corrupt [from the mullahs viewpoint]. Taking a million plus profits from a developer he does special legal favors for -- corrupt.

And then there's Obama -- the mullahs hope he'll win because he has no realpolitik experience and might then be as easy to make a fool of as Carter was. [Not to mention that they'll get to feel superior due to his race.]

OMG!! Can you see Iran annexing Iraq, or at least the southern part of it, in three years?

I'm not concerned because the Islamic Republic of Iran lacks the ability to deliver the weapon except through a stealth attack, and we all know what a great job the Dept. of Homeland Security is doing.

The JFK debacle, I reserve judgment on. I think that if the attack is for real, it was conceived by the same thunk-tank that the troops in Iraq refer to as the Acme Company (after Wile E. Coyote's mail order company).

If the bad guys had the means to deliver a nuke to the US, there would already have been a mushroom cloud over New York by now.

Nah. I sincerely doubt Iran possesses the necessary means to hit my house or anywhere close enough to it, with a nuke. Maybe in a few years. Though I do agree with the point you seem to be making, here.
