A few friends of mine are trying to clear military housing and they go over the carpet with black lights... there 2 year old was in the mist of potty training and had accidents they bought urine be gone and they used the hole bottle in one room and steam cleaned hte carpets and it didnt help is their any suggestions.. i heard that it will always be detectable..

Nature's Miracle! It works! It might take a couple of applications - but it works....yes with the black light trick.

YES... I had a cat that was very sick and eventually died. I brought in a carpet cleaning service and they went over the house with a black light and found numerous places where there was urine.
They treated the spots with something then cleaned the carpet and the urine spots no longer show up under black light so I have to assume they cleaned them.
Check with a carpet cleaning company. It CAN be dont, but I don't know what the Carpet Cleaners used.

There are products on the market now that can get that ugly smeilly stain out of the carpet. Best to ask the hardware store people about that.

Perfume does the trick. I'mnot sure if it's the smae, but I have had urine on my carpet before, and perfume takes away the smell and staine. Good luck!

Rubbing alcohol will kill the bacteria. Just pour it on the area let sit for a few seconds and suck it up with the shampooer.
