Absolutely NOT! We came from creation, God created humans and animals. Who created apes if Charles Darwin's theory of evolution is correct and why are there still apes if apes evolved into humans?

I want to repeat what has already been said, but I feel the need to hammer on this point because it's such a common misconception. Human beings DID NOT evolve from apes -- Apes and Humans had a common ancestor. Why are there still apes then? Why didn't they all turn into humans? Because the apes are doing just fine surviving and reproducing in the ecological niche that they are in. If the environment changes significantly enough, and they are unable to adapt, then they will go extinct. That is how Natural Selection works. There is considerable fossil and genetic evidence that human beings, and every other living thing on the planet, evolved from earlier forms. As far as a "missing link" goes, so many transitional fossils have been discovered that scientists are no longer looking for one single "missing link." This, however, does not necessarily negate the existence of a creator or god. It is pure human arrogance to suppose that God made us in his own image -- how do we know he didn't also make apes in his image? Why do we think that we are so much better than apes?

Scientists don't theorize that humans came from mutated apes. Humans and apes do share a common ancestor though, and over 99% of scientist support that theory.

It took a heck of a lot more than one mutation to turn lower primates into humans.
Anyway, yeah, when you look at the fossil record you see a clear progression from Australopithicines to Homo Erectus to humans. Creation "science" is just a bunch of guys looking at the mountains of evidence for evolution and going "I refuse to believe it, I refuse to acknowledge it, I won't listen to anything that goes against what I want to believe!" Quite childish really.

No, that is just a theory that people came up with because they couldn't believe the simple truth. Many scientists don't uphold that theory. It all depends what you read. There are many things you have learned in school that isn't really applicable.

No. People did not derive from apes. People were made by God. Also...God created people from his own image. If God created people in his own image... does that make God an ape?
The evolution theory is full of holes. Look up creation theory on the web. It explains a lot.

Go and read a book. No scientist has claimed man descended from apes. The creationists made that up to discredit evolution.

That's not exactly right, is it ? Sharing a common ancestor doesn't mean humans descended from apes, it means they both descended from a common point, taking different paths. What's not to believe ? Seems reasonable based on the evidence available today. Could be proven incorrect in the future. Let's wait and see.
