if a=2 and in the equation there are 4a's then you must times 2 by 4 which gives you 8. with b=5 and you have 3b's in the equation then you need to multiply them together which equals 15. From there multiply 8 by 15 which should equal 120.

since you are given that a=2 and b=5 you sub those values into the expression
so 3b x 4a
= (3x5) x (4x2)
= 15 x 8
= 120
.: 3b x 4a = 120
if a=2 and b=5
