~*~smile~*~.. Don't call me a 'dumbbutt'. I am just asking nicely for opinions. I am just asking what you think about it. If you're going to be rude, I think you shouldn't answer my question and I'm sure others think the same, dumbbutt.

its a metaphor, dumbbutt.
slow and steady win the race.
if you run too fast and wear urself out, then you will eventually stop, having gone slow and steady in the begining you have alot of energy left to really crank it up a few notches. Thats how you win the race.

personally it make no sense to me, it has no point in life, but i can see where they got it from.

I'm still trying to figure that one out.
I'm a capricorn--the mountain goat. We are known to take a step and make sure it's a good step before we take another one. Therefore, it takes us longer to get to the top.
Aries, the Ram, just plows through everything, will stumble and fall back but keep charging forward.
I"m still just working on being patient.

yes actually i did, just think about it! egg and spoon race, first one there is a rotton egg, things where you have to go slow. I once had a race on a tightrope with a man on a unicycle, so i got my shoes off so i could win, you know why that works? because you can through the shoe at the person next to you, and they'll fall

yes, the missed opportunities of flying through are huge. slow and steady really does win the race 98% of the time.

I have never won race by being slow and steady! That person usually gets dirt kicked in his/her face! More, the early bird gets the worm, but who wants worms? But that is a whole other story!

Never; I've never been slow or steady. I'm more of the hap-hazard...speedy type, but I also win more often than not!
