I`ve bought a new desk from IKEA
though the route to assembly`s unclear,
it came with no wrench
and instructions in French,
so now i`ve gone out on the beer!..Cheers.

That place really sucks. I dont blame you going out for a beer! Fancy giving out French instructions in an english store. That is just stupid.

If you want, you can send the instructions to me, and i will see if i can translate a bit. My french isnt very good. I only know hello and goodbye, and a few phrases!

(Hang on aminute. Is this a true story or just a poem?)

Probably not until they think we can handle it, of course it would mess us up at first-but once it was established that they were peaceful and trustworthy things would settle down again. Everyone everywhere would be forced to rethink everything (just from the knowledge of the aliens existence) not even war would make as large an impact on humanity as that event..and perhaps nothing else in this world would positively, permanently change a persons thought process more. Yes people will be afraid-we just need to keep them from doing something drastically bad out of fear.

Alien products from IKEA are cack
They contained no screws for my rack
If your desk is the same
Go get in a plane
And just go and try take it back...

They would all be several screws short of a full cabinet.

But flat pack is bloody easy to assemble, if you have the right pieces, just have patience.

You are sooo lucky. Whenever I go into that store I can't find my way out. Let alone get home and try to assemble anything.

IKEA is fantastic if you have no life, like me! I once spent an entire weekend getting a metal lockerstyle thingy to stay upright... aah, happy memories.
