Why do senators on YA get so many stars?

I mean, isn't this sucking up ?

Sucking up and sheep mentality.I usually star questions when I think they are good and interesting including with senators.
There seem to be busloads of members who never choose to star or very rarely except when it's someone famous.,I've even been told in answers good or great question without getting starred.
