No one can dispute that the NBA finals were rigged for Michael Jordan, either.

I can see where you're coming from. LeBron is a bit of a golden boy when it comes to the League officials. However, he still had to score all those points, dish out all those assists and grab all those rebounds. Further, can you rig "Boobie" Gibson making 19 in the fourth? No matter how bad stern may want to see LeBron in the finals this is impossible. The fact is, the guy is talented as hell, no way can you rig a game so a guy scores 48, either. If you watched the series (I assume you did) the Pistons went to the line almost as often as the Cavs, despite being a team that relies almost completely on sublime jumpshooting from Chauncey billups, Rip, and Rasheed wallace. Lebron, on the other hand, is an aggressive attacking player.
Imagine being a refferee in this series, you have to give Lebron calls, not because there is a fix in place, but simply because he is attacking a defence that is too slow to stop him. I know it would be nice for refs to get do-overs, but this is the NBA. Lebron is going to the finals because he is an outstanding talent, who has made his teammates immeasurably better over the course of the playoffs.

Are you kidding me?? Lebron James is a talented player. You can't rig the type of performance that this kid had. What, did they move the basket whenever he shot the ball so that it would go in. Get the hell outta here. I'm not a Cavs fan at all but you can't deny the fact that LJ is good. Would anyone be talking about the game being rigged if Detroit had won. NO!!! Because everyone expected the Pistons to win. Everyone that is but the people in Cleveland. What you "witnessed" was a good player playing good basketball and a good team (Pistons) unravel the first time they got some real competition. Stop making excuses for the Pistons losing.

Denial...denial...denial. Anyoone who agrees with you that this is rigged is suffering from Denial. Pistons were outplayed-game over-deal with it. Pistons actually should have been swept. And I'm wondering when Lebron made all those tough fadeaways the other night when he exploded in Detroit---did they also move the basket closer for him--did Stern hire little Umpa Lumpas from Willy Wonka to lower the basket when Lebron shot? And if so-did they do the same for Gibson last night. I'm sure they raised the basket for Detroit too huh? Maybe greased the ball down so it would "slip out of their hands"? Referee's don't make enough of an impact to win a series--Cavs whipped them...it wasn't even close. So maybe what you are saying is that the Detroit players took a fall? They threw the game?? I see what you mean now-because that's the only way the game could have been rigged. And we know Cleveland is an awful team that had 50 games in the regular season rigged for them too, huh? You people live in a conspiracy theory filled fantasy world. If you don't like seeing the Cavs win maybe you should not watch the NBA for the next 5-6 seasons...this team is going no place but up in the future-young team that will fill in their holes and only get better.

If no one can dispute your argument then why post the message?! I hadn't watched a single NBA game all season (not a fan after MJ retired) but anyway, I never jumped on a LeBron bandwagon since his introduction into the league. I started watching a few playoff games this season starting with the GSW. I thought like most of the country after the first 2 games of the Pistons-Cavs series that the Pistons would sweep, but then I saw a young, determined phenom take over and put his team on his back (like another great I admire). LeBron was determined to win this series and made believers out of all of his teammates. There are bad calls in every game and this question always comes up with bitter fans--I mean look back at the NCAA's with OSU getting calls against Xavier (Oden uncalled flagrant) and G'Town against Vandy (Green travelled). I think the Spurs are a great TEAM and play extremely well together--but Cleveland is determined right now on a big high! They did beat the Spurs in both games this season (Gibson only played a total of 5 minutes). He has emerged as a good support player. I think the Spurs in 6 games.

It sure seems to have been "rigged" for him against the Pistons. For a talented athlete, he sure has a lousy attitude, until he wins. So many fouls were called on the Pistons defending Lebron, but when you watch the replay, hardly any contact or none was made at all. The way he complains to the officials is absolutely pathetic. He acts as if he's still a teen-ager...he seems to lack maturity and acceptance of a lot of the contact that is allowed. But that's what aggravates me about the game....refs can just about call whatever they want with no recourse, unless they get reprimanded or warned after the game, which fans never learn about.
It finally got to Rasheed Wallace in last night's game as his frustration was too much and he went on a rant. He probably had to, to avoid having a stroke over the favortism for Lebron.
We'll see if it continues with the Spurs.

No, I believe that the NBA Playoffs were and still are rigged for Bill Russell. I mean come on, 11 freakin' titles! And who was handing the Cavs the East trophy at mid-court...Bill Russell!!! In a very special episode of NBA Finals, we will learn that Lebron is the illegitimate son of Bill Russell as the result of one of Wilt Chamberlain's infamous gang bangs that also produced half of the NBA's Champions including Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobilli. The season's cliffhanger will be Greg Oden's DNA test. Is Oden one of Bill Russell's chosen ones, or is he destined for first round exits? Stay tuned!
Seriously, nothing is rigged. The Pistons are old and done. Sheed is a cancer. If it was rigged, it would be the Knicks and Lakers.

Oh course they were. I mean come on the first three quarters the Cavs were on the floor. Seriously for a group of young Twenty-somethings they seem to love being on their backs more than a group of hookers. They seriously got scared after game 5 and knew that they needed a new strategy to finish the Pistons. But let me make this clear, when they face the Spurs they better be having a different player step up in the 4th and give Gibson and James a break. Believe me the Spurs are hip to the Cavs plan and will quickly defuse of it. That's all I have to say...................Go Spurs!!!!!!

I said last year after shaq team won the title that this year it will be L. james team because the powers to be wants it that way , plus it's hard for the referees to make proper calls when they are kissing lebron james 's butt and all they see is buttcheeks

While it is highly suspicious at times, like it was with Peyton Manning in the NFL last season(I'm a Pats/Tom Brady fan), I don't think LeBron will be getting past Tim Duncan and the Spurs...
