Put in CD

Select Install.

Afetr loading files....You will be given a list of all partitions. Select the c partition and delete.

Select create partition with c and format it with ntfs (dont use quick)

the os will not touch the other paritions and all files will be ready to use when the xp is done.

no it's OK.
Put CD1 and boot on it.
During the install process there is a time where the installer will ask you what to do with existing partitions.
you just have to choose to keep them and to ask it to reformat the "System" (root) partition and to use it to install the system.

My stable pals know that they are able to open as much as me. no longer in basic terms because of the fact I won't breach their self belief, yet because of the fact they know if I supply them suggestion, i'm going to shoot at cutting-edge with them. I won't sugar-coat something. I won't repeat those issues despite in the event that they ignore to question me to no longer. besides the shown fact that, i admire a quote that Mae West as quickly as coined: "you start to maintain secrets and techniques, and your secrets and techniques will save you."
