Whether one follows it not what is to happen will happen.The point is Astrology the science of Horoscopes, is called Jyothisha. That means shedding light on life. With that lioght a person who takes birth can attempt to lead a spiritual life, and if things portend that disaster is ahed, he can brave himself for that. If good fortune is there, it will be enjoyed. With bad fortune ahead, the person can get prepared and face it with equanimity. Astrology and Numerology are only pointers. the finger that ppoints the Monn is not the Moon. The signpost is not the place. In the travails of man ups and down will be there, and one has by pass them. Astrology and Numerology are tools to by pass the ups and downs. There is no necessity to follow it, if the person is strong-willed and determined. All the best.

1. Culturally we are compelled to go for horoscope and numerology. Traditionally, horoscopes were used as birth certificate and for auspicious occasions like education, business, marriage, journeys, etc. Numerology is a later concept perhaps borrowed from the West.
2. It depends on oneself. If you believe, you follow the astrologers as such to remove hurdles reported to have been caused by the stars and the planets in your horoscope at inauspicious houses which costs time, effort and money. This process weakens ones resolve, determination and the will to thin, plan, perform, and achieve.
3. Karma yogis (persons believing in deeds) do not care for these things and are unaffected. They even don't bother to go through to ascertain as to what is hidden there. They carry on with their life to plan and execute their short-term and long-term plans in life.
4. Rather longshightedness is an attribute to defeat hurdles before hand.
5. Moreover, positive attitude to life is an asset much better than the horoscopes and numerology. These things come into play when one is idle and has plenty of time and money.
