After leaving Iraq...How will we fight terrorism in 2008?

Sorry 2009 or 2010...it just seems we will leave Al Queda to build stronger...and attack us in the future....there is no strong plan by the democrats.. They have the Legis..and will soon have the Exec...I'm afraid for this country to become like Isreal..seal off the borders...please!!!!

Iraq is a sad story. That's all I can say. To be honest, I really do not know why Bush invaded the country in the first place. I still think that there are many questions that remain unanswered. I question whether America is really a democracy.

Humankind has achieved many techonological advances and advances in various sciences over its history.

Up till now, I believe that one country cannot simply go into another far away country and go about marshalling it.

Regardless of how well armed, how well trained, how much determination it carries or the political force that drives it; a military cannot impose order in another country.

This is the 21st century, not the colonial times.

Remember that Al Queda is an organization that was created by the US during the Reagan administration in order to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. Which eventually caused the collapse of the USSR.

You wanna know what I think of Al Queda? I think its simply a hallucination that some stupid, twisted, narrow minded and corrupt Muslims use to further their personal causes.

Their followers; who are in turn poorly educated really believe in all the propaganda BS stuff.

Do not let that same hallucination to drive the US in some form of insanity, like what is happening in Iraq.

The war in Iraq was simply a waste of lives and money. I don't see any benefits from that.

After the fall of Iraq, Al-Qaeda emerged there and it's still growing rapidly. Iran is the biggest winner from the fall of Iraq. Do you remember the Iranian-Iraqi war? It was for the benefit of the USA to prevent Iran from expanding it's power. I think history is repeating itself with the USA, They funded and trained Bin Ladan to fight the Soviets. Then Bin Laden became a big threat for the US. It's the same now, the US is creating more enemies, and terrorism will not vanish.
