I hate apple; it does have excellent graphics but are terrible to work on. Dell has terrible customer service, but are very easy to work on, upgrade, etc... It all depends what you are looking for in a machine.

As a sytems administrator I want PC's because they are much easier to work on.

It all depends what you are looking for in a computer? graphics? storage? office stuff? all makes a difference.

Dell's getting sued for bad customer service in New York.

Apple's products consistently get the highest ratings on Consumer Reports.

They are both great computers.

Go to any Apple Store and take a MAC for a test drive, then decide for yourself.

TIP: Security tools, like Norton, aren't necessary on OS X.

That is next to impossible to compare. As they run entirely different operating systems.

It depends on what you want in a computer, what you're going to use it for, how much performance you want out of it.
