I'm writing humerous stories for my nephews wherein I speculate that a famous person's gastrointestinal problem has changed the course of history. Examples: Napoleon's hemmeroids prevented him from riding horse during Waterloo causing him to lose battle. The constipation of English King George ll caused him to die prematurely and brought an untrained George lll to the throne who mishandled problems with colonies.
The point of this exercise is to interest my young nephews in the study of history. Think about what a 12-15 year old brainy kid would find funny or interesting. I'm concentrating on gastrointestinal problems now, having exausted such topics as Benjamin Franklin's "special" talents in France.
Don't worry about the story as I can make one out of the flimsiest material. All I need is the important historical figure and their medical problem.
