Fred Reinfeld wrote a book 'How to Play Chess Like a Champion'. Despite the title, it was a very instructive book using chess matches in each chapter to point out specific aspects of play.
One chapter was called something like 'a lightning bolt from a clear blue sky'. It looked at what he considered 'genius' moves that only the chess master could divine from the seemingly average game position given.
That image of a lightning bolt on a light blue background has stuck in my mind since. Whether it's Archimedes saying Eureka! in his bathtub, or Newton having an apple dropping on his head (or maybe even Ben Franklin flying a kite with a metal key in a lightning storm lol) that's the symbol of genius for me.
Peace

There is no symbol for genius.
Genius transcends symbols and static objects. Genius cannot be defined, for as soon as one defines it, genius is beyond the definition.
Genius is as easy to symbolize and the movement of a speeding comet. Once you record the movement, its no longer there.
