hi! i got a laptop recently which was installed with window vista buisness..
may i know where to find the SSID in vista buisness...?

i am successfully connected to my smc router but i have no access to the internet.. where could the problem lies..? thanks!!

Assuming you have a (required) wireless router AND configured it properly, right-click on the Wireless Network Connection ICON by the clock and choose "View available wireless networks".

You should see your router. Click the "Connect" button. If not, your router isn't configured properly. Call the router tech support people.

SSID = name of the wireless network you are using. Either you know it or you have to connect to your Wifi Access Point / router to have it. It is not laying in Windows, you have to enter it and to defines all the associated properties such as WPA keys, etc. in order to have access to the Wifi network.
