Spray around the back of your neck, your wrists, and (believe it or not) your ankles!
Us ladies love to smell around your neck, and the pumping veins in your wrists cause the scent to come out, and your ankles... well, the same for the veins, and besides, who wants stink feet?

Good luck!

Now, the answer to your question depends. Are you using real perfume or cologne. There is a difference. perfume is more oil based (I think, don't quote me) and cologne is more alcohol based which means the scent will evaporate quickly over time. The scent of real perfume will stay with you for hours. Sometimes all day without having to reapply, and if you find that you are sensitive to any of the ingredients in your scent and want to just apply it to your clothing, I'd try spritzing it on your clothes before putting it on, and letting it dry a little bit before wearing it.
