a keyboard is diff from a monitor
a touch screen monitor is a special monitor that has sensors in it
a new one at work was 8" and $1000
they might be cheaper now tho
then your screen would just get dirty
just wash your hands

Well, touch screen is not the feature of key board. It is the feature of display (monitor. tft, lcd etc). Touch pannel is actually a thin transparent layer pasted on the screen without abstrutctin the view. It works like a pointing device. When you touch a particular place on the screen, it sends the co-ordination information (an ordered pair (x,y)) to the touch scereen driver and in turn to the system. System iterprets it as if it were a mouse click. So almost every application that is responsive to mouse, so is to touch screen.

No. There is no such thing as a Touch Screen keyboard.
You can buy a Touch Screen Monitor though.
If cleaning is the real issue, a Tough Screen Monitor will need to be cleaned more often.
