You must be more precise

However an advice

The number of atoms of each species must be in equal number in each side of the equations taking in account the number of atoms in each molecule multiplied by the coefficient given to the molecule

ur queation is not a simple one .
first of all u have to learn how to write the formula of chmical for thsi u have to know valencies which one is positive and negative eg metals have positive and nonmetals usually negative and thier numbers ie +1,+2,+3 etc nd -1,-2,-3 etc eg Na and K has +1 ,valency while that of O has -2 and N has -3.then negative and positive combines form a chmical formula like Na has +1 and Cl has -1 when they combine they form Na+Cl---------------NaCl in the same way when Na and OH combine they form NaOH and when NaOH and HCl combine or react they form NaOH+HCl-----NaCl+H2O
here u c that Na whic is +1 react with the Negative fo Cl of HCl and that of H +1,react with the negative of NaOH ie OH
-1. so form water .so most of the reaction taking place by thei rule that positive of one combines with the negative of other .
hope it will help u

"When Magnesium and HydroChloric acid react, they create Hydrogen gas and Magnesium Chloride"

Take your Reactants (I'll make them up for the purpose of the explanation) and list them together.

Mg + HCl

Then take your Products and write those down right next to Reactants.

Mg + HCl H2(g) + MgCl2

Then just add an arrow pointing from your reactants to your products and balance it.

Mg + 2HCl ---> H2(g) + MgCl2
