Black pudding, as made in the UK, is a blend of onions, pork fat, oatmeal, flavourings - and blood (usually from a pig).

I´ve also looked everywhere but couldn´t find anything, but seeing that it´s made out of blood I would not eat it before consulting a doctor...
Rather safe than sorry...

That's a good one that!! I have never heard any advice saying we can't eat it. Although I probably wouldn't recommend it as the thought of eating congealed blood would have been enough to turn me off when I was pregnant although I love black pudding normally.
Good Luck with the baby xxx

I have heard of people eating lots of things while pregnant. Luckily i craved strawberry icies and not pig blood. But, hey, everyone has their own tastes. I'd say call your OB nurse. They should be able to tell you over the phone. If it's cooked, I would think it may even be good for you.

Why would you want to eat that? I would not eat it I would think you would have the risk of catching some parasite from the blood. Like round worm.
