no relation with chocolate and hot watter, first see a doctor (gynecologist) to rule out bad causes, then just took some simple medication that he/she prescribes you.

I once read a magazine article about how B-complex vitaims can help. B-6 or B-12 I forgot which. Anyway I have been taking a multivitamin for years and when the cramps come I take a second pill. I have found that it helps. I have recommended it to schoolmates over the years and to co-workers and they claim they have an improvement although some of them still take Aleve, Motrin or prescription meds. Everyone is different. See your gynecologist for an exam to ensure there is no physical reason for the pain. Speak to your mother about it.
Another thing is to avoid certain types of foods and don't drink very cold beverages. The cramps come from muscular contractions. I have also found temporary relief by getting on all fours so that my uterus is leaning forward. That also helps but not as much as B-Complex vitamins. There is plenty of info on the internet.
Hope this helps you.

Wow, I feel your pain... halfway. I only get bad bloating but not many cramps, and don't you just hate the feeling of it flowing out!? I'm not sure if there's much you can do about it without the pill but ask your doctor! They'd probably be able to help you! I will google menustral cups, what do they look like? I heard they are like tampons, you put them inside you. Sorry about the terrible periods! Hope it gets better soon! I think they are at first really heavy then they get a little lighter and shorter, but every 3 months? that's a long time in between them. I mostly just answered this to express my sympathy, so i'm probably not best answer.

Take a normal dosage of painkillers and if that doesn't work go on a low dose oral contraceptive pill. If you aren't having sex yet or your family disapprove of this you can get pills that are the same as contraceptive pills but don't stop you from getting pregnant but still adjust your hormone levels and reduce your pain - I went on the pill for my terrible period pain and it helped me a lot, I only get a small amount of pain for a few hours and my periods are a lot lighter too. See a woman's doctor and see what is best for you depending on your personal circumstances - Goodluck

Check with your doctor first that there is no underlying problem...then you can try evening primrose oil... check with a naturopath or other natural health expert on dosage, I would also suggest try ensuring cutting out refined sugars, fats and too many processed foods and exercise such as swimming or walking will help.
Last and not least... there is always an anti inflammatory... they will most definitely help relieve any pain you may have.... good luck sweetie!!

1)An ibuprofen pain reliever like Advil. 2) Evening Primrose Oil found in the vitamin supplement section of the store. Take 2000-3000 mg everyday. Start taking it a few days before your period starts and all the days of your period.

You need to talk to your mom about this and you also need to see your dr about this to find out what is causing these cramps to be so bad.
