Sounds like you are suffering from low self esteem and you worry too much about what other people think of you. Just know that all of us have faults and none of us do everything perfectly. Don't let failures ruin your life. Use them as learning experiences to help you grow.
You also sound like a perfectionist. Lower your expectations of your self down to a more reasonable level. You cannot attain perfection in this life.
About your food thing, everyone has different taste buds. Maybe one person won't like what you have prepared with great care, but someone else with different tastes will love it. Do you like all foods? No, some you like some you don't.
