We will continue to evolve unless we as humans become one of the species on the endangered list.....and become extinct! This was a planet of dinosaurs, a planet of apes and now a planet of man....once we are gone....it will go back to the roaches who continue to survive.

I don't think so, but I think our evolution a) is no longer occuring in our bodies so much as our minds, b) is coming about very very very slowly and c) not very widespread at this time.
I truly believe that there are a very relative few who are different enough that one may say they are the beginning of a new evolution of the human species, but like I said it isn't the body that is doing the changing anymore.

Evolution doesn't stop. We keep evolving (changing) that is why it is called evolution. For example, it is expected that in the next couple of 1,000 of years humans will have 4 toes on their feet instead of 5 (we will lose our pinky toes). That is the only thing i remember from biology and I have been out of college a looong time, LOL

Supposedly, we are still evolving. Our pinkie fingers are becoming smaller and may become non existent. Same goes for our appendix and tonsils. Most have their wisdom teeth cut out. Maybe they will become obsolete.

No it hasn't. The human brain is actually evolving very quickly. Each new generation has about 150 000 more brain cells than the previous one ... so technically a little kid is smarter than you!

One could argue that humans have slowed in their physical evolution by increasing their technological evolution. Our so-called "survival skills" are being replaced by machines and research. Instead of adapting ourselves, we force our surroundings to adapt to us. In this sense, we may have seized control of evolution by eliminating the need for it.

No, as you may have noticed, people are getting smarter taller and stronger on every generation. It's obvious that natural selection is working.
