I keep getting in these weird moods, I can be happy and normal and then all of a sudden i get this kind of empty feeling in my chest and feel sad and cry for no reason. Sometimes i feel like no one at school likes me, even my friends.Im tired a lot and cant sleep very well at night. I find myself sitting doing nothing, and think of all the things i could be doing but i never feel like doing anything. I get stressed about some of the simplest things, and for no reason at all cant bring myself to do some of the easiest homework etc. The only way i manage to get out of the moods is by sleeping it off usually.ive considered depression, but my sister suffers from depression, and im no where near as bad as she used to be before she was on medication. I dont know what to do about it

It sounds like you are depressed. You need to go to a doctor and tell them whats going on. Maybe they can help you, or get you on some sort of medication that will make you feel better. Good luck.

Some of it maybe normal, everyone goes through a lot of mood swings when they are school aged. Exercise is the best medicine for feeling tired. The more you exercise the more energy you will have.
The more you sit around and sleep the more tired you will feel. Even if you don't feel like it, get up and force yourself. It is up to you to change, no one else can do it for you.
Make yourself a gratitude list. Write down all the things you are grateful for. Like having a home, having family, being able to see, hear, walk and talk (a lot of people can't do these things), having food to eat being able to attend school.
Don't worry about the people at school not liking you. Treat other people like you would want to be treated no matter how they act. Be kind, giving, good and loving. Do things for others with out expecting anything in return. You will begin to like yourself better and when that happens other people will naturally like you too. If they don't leave them behind you don't need them anyway.

This could be many different things. Yes, depression is still a possibility, because it varies in severity. Also, if you have diabetes that runs in your family, it could be that too, as the varying blood sugar levels affect your well-being. It could be untreated ADD. People with untreated ADD often have the symptoms you're having. You could have a GAD, or Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Or it could be something much simpler than any of the above. Also, if you are using certain illegal drugs, these are common side effects. Honestly, the best thing to do is go see a doctor, even though a lot of people don't like doing that, it'll be worth it in the end. You're better off getting a professional judgment than you are just getting one on Yahoo! Answers. Hope you feel better soon : )

Depression manifests itself in different forms for different people. There is also a condition called bi-polar. this is depression but where your mood changes from one extreme to the other. I suffer from depression and have been treated for many years. I can get myself out of bed, I can eat and I do have energy..but i dont cope well with upset. My depression is very different from other peoples but I have accepted that I have a problem. Think of it like this, If you broke your leg would you be expected to run a race? no! but if you have a broken mind you are expected to get on with it. Dont! You need some help to restore the chemical imbalance in your mind. Be strong and get some professional help. I am here to talk anytime you want!!

Experiencing depression is different for everyone. You can't compare yourself to your sister. You describe your condition and it is clearly indicative of depression. You should talk to a professional about your condition and figure out some things you can use to help yourself (meds, therapy, exercise) overcome your unhappiness. You can decide to make some changes now, or continue on an unhappy path. I would recommend making some changes. :) Good luck with everything and I hope you can find fulfilling ways to overcome your issues.

hi dear, you don't need to worry about how you feel, it's normal, people always in differeny moods, and i think i have a solution to your problem......when you feel that down, try to find something to cheer you up like a song you like, music, movie, ...anything and try to keep it in hand and easy to reach so you can easely find it and do it when you down
about you not doing anything when you feel depressed, when you feel good, try to write all what you have to do and what you like to do for the whole week and at the time when you are down, get your list and stick with it....you may not do all waht you plan for but at least you will do some of it and one day you will do all of it even when you are down
try not to think too much of what you can't get, always believe in your self and be sure that what you can't get today will be yours tomorow
this is my personal experience i hope it works for you
Good Luck

i think of your answer is stable on your question. you're no longer ingesting nutrition, till youre compelled? it relatively is the reason you're no longer gaining. on account which you're no longer ingesting. Your physique demands all forms of foodstuff to construct muscle OR fat. to earnings any form of weight, it desires extra suitable than only sugar. As for the being thirsty section, drip some water on a pile of sugar (what you're saying you have been stuffing your self with) Then do it to, say, an entire plate of lasagna or different meat. regular nutrition might take in water somewhat, yet multiple nutrition already has lots of water in it. Sugar would not, and it relatively is in basic terms absorbing each and all the water it relatively is interior you, making you rather thirsty.

Yep, sounds like early stages of depression. Better find a really fun hobby or get some meds.

Try learning to play guitar or something. I did & it helped me. Like that movie, "Stranger than Fiction"
