The Greatest Tag Team of All Time is "LOD" The Road Warriors. Hawk and Animal. The are the only true Tag Team that held every Major Wrestling Tag Title. AWA, NWA, WWF, WCW and the also won the very first Crockett Cup and Tag Champs in Japan. They are the only true grandslam tag champs. Here are some close seconds Freebirds Micheal Hayes and Bam Bam Terry Gordy, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson, Midnight Express, Nikita and Ivan Koloff, and The Strieners, Doom Butch Reed and Ron Simmons, Rockin Roll Express and The Skyscrapers Davey Spivey and Sid Vicious.
I can understand why Rick and Scott Steiner slamed Team 3-D the only really won 2 titles ECW and WWE. The WCW title were after it closed its doors and Vince made a joke out of there Titles like he is doing with ECW. Major Wrestling Promotion: AWA, NWA, WWF, WCW, All- Japan, New Japan. These are all the promotions Legion of Doom carried titles in.

The Hart Foundation was a great tag team. As a matter of fact, I prefer watching Bret in tag matches with Neidhart opposed to singles. They had so much chemistry, and covered one another's weaknesses very well, and that's what a tag team should do.
Some could say LOD/Road Warriors, and they were, and still are, one of my favorite tag teams of all time. They set a huge trend of big guys in face paint pulling off the "Beyond the Thunder Dome" look that actually is responsible for the likes of Sting and the Ultimate Warrior (a.k.a.-the regional knock off of the LOD known as the Blade Runners).
You'd have to be an idiot to not realize that the late nineties/early two-thousands were the years of tag team wrestling. You had great tag teams emerging in WWE like the Hardy Boyz, the Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian, the Outsiders. and the New Age Outlaws, all of which are legendary tag teams today.
It's hard to choose just one, considering every incarnation of the Rockers or Express tag teams. As markish as it might make me sound, I'm going to say Edge and Christian. They're the only tag team on this list (outside of the cameoed Blade Runners) where both members had a successful singles career as well as a very innovative and memorable tag team career.
Bury me for it if you want, but I'm saying Edge and Christian.

The Midnight Express : Beautiful Bobby Eaton and Lover Boy Dennis Condrey managed the Greatest manager of all time James E Cornette.
Used their wrestling skills and minds not just brute strength like the road warriors. Feuded not only with the LOD but ran the hottest tag feud of the 80's with the Rock and Roll Express, whom I rank second best tag team ( they might have had first if it weren't for Jim Cornette being an integral part of the Midnight Express).
Titles held by this incarnation of the Midnight Express..
* ASW Tag Team Championship (1 time)
* Mid-South Tag Team Champions (2 times)
* WCCW American Tag Team Championship (1 time)
* NWA World Tag Team Championship (1 time)
* NWA Bluegrass Tag Team Championship (1 time)
Also Wrestled in the Night of the Skywalkers Scaffold Match at Starrcade 86 against the Road Warriors and Paul Ellering.
From Wikipedia : "He( Cornette) and the Midnights were so hated, in fact, that they had to be escorted by police to and from the ring at the house shows and have a police escort to the city limits for fear of being attacked by overzealous fans."
Still damn good reunited even now in their later years.
Tell me who is the greatest manager of all time and why is Jim Cornette?
You asked for an opinion that is my own.
Oh and F***off timmy you whiny little punk you aren't intelligent enough to support what you say with any facts so you gotta whine like the little puke you are..
Rick Steiner is now Big Poppa Pump because he's so pumped on the gas he can't see his feet beyond his steroidal b*tch t*ts.

For me, it's Edge and Christian. Their dynamics are simply sensational. They are strong as a individual and when formed together, one of the strongest tag teams. They gave sensational ladder matches and their feud with the Hardy's are the things I will always remember. Their tag combinations and the common weapon they love [w/c is the ladder] are the ones that are really thrilling to watch. Everytime they have a match, I tend to jump due to thrill and scream with joy like a loony bin. I love them when they're in the ring as a team and for me, they are the best tag team of all time.

People that use wikipedia to answer questions here are lame. Use your own opinion on questions like these.
My favorite all time tag team would definetely have to be the Steiner brothers. The Frankensteiner was one of the first "eye popping" moves I ever saw as a child and Scott Steiner used to be able to really go in the ring. Now that he has abused steroids he's not nearly the same wrestler, but he's fun to listen to as a loose cannon on the mic.

The British Bulldogs. They had that uniquely perfect combination of Davey Boy Smith's power and Dynamite Kid's technical skill. And they're one of the few people in wrestling history who I would consider legit- well, the Dynamite Kid at least.
The Road Warriors are a close second.

For me it's Rick Martel and Tony Garea. These guys were both tag-team specialists, meaning they made their mark in the sport in tag-team rather than individual competition. Martel-Garea won the tag-team title from the Wild Samoans and was very popular in the 80's. They were known for their speed, quickness, energy and showmanship which always had the crowd on their feet and cheering wildly. They brought excitement to the sport and were really fun to watch.

For me it is and will always be THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION. Never can any team match that sheer power, that class, that "cool". They are just awesome specially the badass Undertaker and the masked kane. Whenevr the music hit " keep rollin" i would just jump up and down. Kane comes in and does that fire thing. Never will there be any team like that for me.

id have to say edge and christian even tho they were heels you couldn't help cheer for them they had so much carisma and watching them fight with the hardy's and the dudley's in tho's classic tlc matches was fantastic.what realy made them special for me was also the fact that they bounced of each other realy well ,they knew what they were doing and never stopped entertaining us, admitadly the dudley's and the hardy's deserve some credit for some of edge and christians great matches i.e tlc but in my mind even tho they are not together anymore they have established them selves as the best tag team to date,
